Dr. Martina Chan is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in hospitality, retail, and e-commerce. Her expertise spans sales and marketing management, brand development, and digital marketing strategies. Renowned for her proactive and creative approach, she has a proven history of optimizing operations and driving revenue growth across various industries.
As a recognized thought leader, Martina has been invited to speak at prestigious industry conferences, such as the Intrigue Summit in 2017, where she shared insights on SEO strategies. Additionally, she served as a panel judge for the Spark Awards in 2018 and provided consulting support for startup incubation programs.
Prior to her role at Harbour-Plaza Group, Martina was the Director of Marketing & E-Commerce at The Park Lane Hong Kong from 2006 to 2015. In this capacity, she was instrumental in the hotel’s rebranding from Park Lane to Pullman and managed all marketing and e-commerce initiatives, significantly enhancing the hotel's market presence through effective digital marketing.
From 2020 to 2023, she worked as a Play Therapist and Counselling Tutor at Inner Care Emotion Counselling & Education Service, supporting special needs students through play and LEGO®-based therapy.
Martina also served as Marketing Director at Goods of Desire (G.O.D. Ltd.), where she established distribution channels in eight countries and developed innovative marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness. Her career began at Vision Strategic Marketing Co. Ltd., where she focused on revenue generation in the B2B sector.
Dr. Martina Chan holds a Doctor of Education from IBES/UCAM, France/Spain, and an Executive MBA from the University of Hull, UK, where she achieved distinctions. She has also completed advanced diplomas in Human Resource Management and Integrated Risk Management from Churchill Education in Australia, alongside certifications from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
